Guatacrep — breakfast

A French owner making excellent French crêpes. A great way to start the day.

Koi Cocina Asiática

Good sushi and Asian food. The owner is also involved with Casa Dodo, one of the guide’s favorite places to stay.

Arepa boyacense

An inexpensive, quick arepa that is different from what you usually find in Medellín. The link is an approximate pin because the shop may not have its own Google Maps listing.

Art shopping

Café Retro Art Gallery

A good gallery with reasonably priced pieces. Prices are often negotiable; try asking for around 25% off.

Arte El Quarzo

A changing selection of interesting pieces. The shop is known as the “Don Quixote of Guatapé.”
